    I am accepting applications on behalf of a client that is seeking a Country Representative to manage its office and programs in China. The Country Representative is the senior-most employee in China and is accountable for all programs, operations, and external relations in accordance with institutional strategies and policies. The Country Representative leads and oversees all aspects of the organization’s work in China, including financial and grant management, administration, and security; the direction, supervision, and evaluation of employees; fundraising and the diversification of donor support; the design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of program activities; and the development of effective working relationships with the host government, donors, partner agencies, diplomatic missions, national and international institutions, and the media. The Country Representative is supported by a Deputy Representative and reports to a US-based headquarters. The organization’s programs in China focus on law and governance, environmental protection, women's empowerment, disaster management, and constructive U.S.-China relations.

    I am recruiting this position on behalf of the American Bar Association (ABA). ABA ROLI is a non-profit pro­gram that implements legal reform programs in roughly 60 countries around the world.  ABA ROLI has nearly 700 professional staff work­ing abroad and in its Washington, D.C. office. ABA ROLI’s host country partners include judges, lawyers, bar associations, law schools, court administrators, legislatures, ministries of justice and a wide array of civil society organi­zations, including human rights groups. 

    Job Summary:

    ABA ROLI is seeking a Libya USAID Program Director, responsible for major program implementation, management and oversight of strategic and tactical elements of the program in the country. The position is currently based in Tunis, Tunisia and reports to the Libya Country Director.The program director would be responsible for the implementation of ABA ROLI’s USAID-funded program “Supporting consensus building for the national dialogue, constitution drafting, and governing process in Libya.”  The program is designed to contribute to the reconstruction of the social contract in Libya by providing all Libyans, including women, youth and other marginalized groups with the opportunity to participate in the creation of a revised constitutional framework, effective national institutions, and the social, economic and security conditions necessary for Libyans’ well-being.
