Title: Chief of Party, Libya
Location: Based in Tripoli, Libya, with occasional short-term travel to Tunis.
Start Date: Immediate, this is a newly funded project
The Pragma Corporation seeks a Chief of Party (COP) for the USAID-funded Libya Public Financial Management (LPFM) project. The LPFM project is a 5-year initiative being implemented by Pragma. LPFM works with public and private stakeholders to build a foundation for sustainable and inclusive growth in Libya through a multi-pronged strategy that will: (1) strengthen and improve the transparency and responsiveness of public financial management (PFM) practices in select municiplaities and central government institutions; (2) advance the modernization, efficiency, and reliability of the electricity sector, (3) increase the quality and availability of basic public services (primary healthcare, solid waste management, and primary education) through a more effective, responsive, and decentralized public service delivery system; and (4) facilitate the establishment of an invigorated business-enabling environment that stimulates private sector growth and job creation. All project activities are aimed at advancing Libya's stability and its journey to self-reliance.
The COP will be based in Libya with occasional short-term travel to Tunis.
